Before the fight ends, Jun collapses, which effectively makes a very unwilling Tsukasa, the 8th leader of Gokurakuchou.

Soon, under Tsukasa’s lead, Gokurakuchou wrestles the No. 2 spot from Nights, but they failed at winning over BEAST. Will they be able to gain the No. 1 spot… — by NTV

Review

Bad Boys J is a production with heavy influence from both Johnny’s Entertainment and AKS (all the 48 groups label). So this is mainly a Jr. Production as far as background characters. Of course the main stars are all big name talents right… Um no they are sort of popular members from the newest era of Johnny’s these actors being; Nikaido of Kis-My-Ft2 playing the leader of the #1 gang in Hiroshima  Beast, Hiro of abc-z playing the #2 leader in Hiroshima of the Nights, and then there’s Nakajima of Kento in the starring role as the upholder of both friendship and justice as well as accidental leader of gokurakuchou (this translates to bird of paradise)

If you’re looking to watch a drama with an intense plot, and great acting this is not for you. This drama is good for what it is, and it is a high school gang infested show with lots of ridiculous fighting. The plot is basically non existent, it starts with Kiriki (Kento) beating the current leader of gokurakuchou after seeing him hit the girl he is stalking (he really likes Kumi-chan).  From there he takes on various gangs and their leaders to defend the honor of his gang and as a way to strengthen the bond with his new friends. But he does not fight for just any reason he fights for his friends and he gains strength from that self righteous attitude enabling him to fight to the end win or lose.

I like the story because it reminds me of Gokusen, just less organized. Also the acting is pretty good. It is far from award winning so don’t expect outright brilliance from any actor on the show. Their will not be a moment when you are bored especially if you love action. So if you’re looking for a drama you should take the time to watch this 12 episode drama.
